Jay, I love your ART on your newsletter - Bright colors and animals - wonderful!! I also LOVE landscape photography - perhaps you may share that here on the Substack Sandwich Truck.

As I too have had a similar journey and fully endorse the wild authenticity of our spirits, I acknowledge your quest, honor it and support it.

I am starting my NEW PROJECT and so my time will be limited on Substack....but I am always cheering you on!

Love LA from Flying Bra!

Dear LA from Flying Bra,

Thank you so much for your lovely words! I'm thrilled that you enjoy the bright colors and animals in my newsletter art—it’s a joy to create and share them. And I'm glad to hear we both have a love for landscape photography; I might just have to take you up on that and share some of my favorites!

I deeply appreciate your recognition of my journey toward wild authenticity; it means a lot coming from someone who understands it so well. Your support feels like a warm breeze at my back, helping me along this path.

Wishing you all the best with your new project! It sounds exciting, and I have no doubt it will be amazing. I’m curious, though—what’s the ‘Substack Sandwich Truck’? I'm still trying to figure out that delightful mystery!

With gratitude and cheer, Jay

Thank you Jay, I don't take for granted our timely connection. And our endeavors are similar, very similar, the only difference is I'm comedienne - (I use satire to get the word out). I constantly change words. WHY? I don't know - boredom with the same ones?? So, Substack Sandwich Truck is just another way for me to name SUBSTACK. Substack, the name never made sense to me, but it reminds me of a sandwich - stacking up with things to eat - some good - some just ok - as example Substack screwed up my emails etc... so I am going to give you my direct email: lalaugh6@gmail.com

Maybe you will turn your house - or part of it into a sanctuary for people who need the kind of support you are offering.....???

Onward and upward we go on our quest!!!!!

And thank you for YOUR TRUST in my work......I am curious...have you looked at any of it? Here's a link to a fun RAP I did for Glo.

Talk soon, Love LA

'Re-wilding' is such a great way to describe the healing journey. We were born whole and we need to strip away the layers of unhelpful conditioning the world has placed on us. Love it 😀

Thank you, Vicki. Re-wilding was the only word that truly captured this phase of my healing journey. Stripping away those layers of conditioning is messy, raw, and liberating. It’s a return to something authentic—something that was always there, waiting to be uncovered. I’m glad the term resonates with you too—it’s such a powerful metaphor for healing and self-reclamation. 💛

Jay, your piece is like a lion stretching after a long nap - bold, unguarded, and full of intention. I love your art, and your curiosity and drive to connect - it makes this space more than a blog. I’m glad to see a community forming here - it feels like home, even for visitors.

Kuriakin, your words brought such a warm smile—thank you! I love the imagery of a lion stretching after a long nap. It beautifully captures the essence of stepping into this space with boldness and intention.

I’m so grateful you feel a sense of connection and community here. That’s exactly what I hope to cultivate—a space that feels welcoming and meaningful, not just for me but for everyone who visits. Your presence and thoughtful engagement are such a valued part of this home we’re building together.
