The Infinite Loop: Where Every End Meets a New Beginning. Digital graphic by Jay Siegmann
"The end" arrives like the closing of a book, pages pressed together with the weight of finality. I once believed in its absoluteness, in the comfort of knowing something was over. But each time "the end" approached, I found it was not a conclusion but a threshold, a space where stillness breathed life into something new. Standing at the edge of loss, I felt the quiet pulse of what had yet to come, the whisper of possibilities unfolding. "The end," it seems, is always just the pause before "the beginning."
Just a few weeks ago, I had never even heard of this kind of story. But after giving it a try, they've really grown on me. Now, I often find myself pondering a theme and wondering, "Can I make this into a 100-word story?" I may not write one every day, but today I'm happily contributing to this delightful challenge alongside so many wonderful humans.

A shoutout to everyone who started and joined in on this fun 100-words-a-day practice! Distilling thoughts into just 100 words is no easy task, but I’m grateful to share this space with such great company.
Parsing out 100 words from larger pieces is no easy feat. I’m grateful to be in good company while doing this.

Image Description
A vibrant, abstract illustration filled with overlapping, colorful circles of varying sizes, set against a dark background. Curved lines in shades of red, green, yellow, blue, and white swirl from the center, creating a dynamic flow reminiscent of a butterfly or an infinity symbol. The image evokes a sense of movement and interconnectedness, suggesting that every point of conclusion is also a new point of origin, blending seamlessly in a perpetual loop of beginnings and endings.
